I think it will be a while before there's a reboot of TNG since this latest reboot has seemed to lost luster.
Just because someone does something good for you, that doesn't mean they're good for you. -

I'd also like to break down my reasons with each choice
Jean-Luc Picard:
Jean Dujardin
-Capable of a light-hearted nature, as roles like
The Artist
and Jean Saurel in
The Wolf Of Wall Street
have proven, whole also maintaining a level of observation and vigor.
William Riker:
Leonardo DiCaprio
-He has a lot of range. He can play a character that is totally selfless and insightful like Jack Dawson in
Titanic
and a selfish punk like Jordan Belfort in
The Wolf Of Wall Street
. This makes him perfect to play a character like Riker who evolves over the course of the series from a narrow viewed punk to a more appreciative and heroic figure.
Geordi La Forge:
John Boyega
-Clearly is capable of a great amount of anxiety but also a great amount of knowledge and intelligence, something key to this character.
Deanna Troi:
Emma Stone
-Again, a lot of emotional range is needed to play this role, some might even argue more than the original. Emma Stone can play characters of various intentions and goals and van immediately skip acceleration to believably formed and built-up moments of emotion on the tip of a hat as movies like
Crazy Stupid Love
have proven.
Data:
Neil Patrick Harris
-Harris can make emotion seem unrealistic. Granted he rarely does this as he's a good actor but there have performances where that has was right for that role, such as Count Olaf in
A Series Of Unfortunate Events
. He also can deliver the stupidest most unrealistic lines with a bluntness, like pretty much 90% of his lines in
Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle
. So pretty much no matter how they played the character, he'd be right for it.
Beverly Crusher:
Amy Adams
-Her roles are very intelligent,
Worf, Son Of Mogh:
Chadwick Boseman
-He's capable of very headstrong characters, such as Jackie Robinson in
42
and The Black Panther in
Captain America: Civil War
. But he's also capable of displaying a more sensitive nature along with both those performances, in both those movies. Worf is exactly of this nature.
Wesley Crusher:
Shia Lebouf
-Because he's unlikable, just like Wesley
Q:
John De Lancie
-Because he's Q, and Q can make it happen, okay!? End of story.
