Well just based on the fact that both the 5th and 6th "
SCREAM
" movies were successful, I am pretty sure you are in the losing minority when you say that it was over.
Also when it comes to Dewey getting killed, I totally understand the reason why they decided to kill off 1 of the Original 3 (Sidney, Gale, & Dewey).
The Original 3 can't always keep surviving these movies. If they did then it would all just become repetitive and predictable and when it comes to the "
SCREAM
" movies, I don't think that there should be anything in the "
SCREAM
" movies (including the fates of the Original 3) that should be predictable.
When it comes to Gale, I didn't see or hear anybody complaining about her in the 6th "
SCREAM
" movie. Heck, she even had 1 of the best chase scenes in the entire franchise in that movie. -

" had the highest opening weekend in the franchise and it is the highest grossing film in the franchise. The movie was successful.
