One of the best tv shows in years.
The real (non supernatural) story is pretty interesting in itself. A few years back they found the second ship, can't remember if it was the Terror or the Erebus, but now they have found both. -

They found both? That's interesting, imagine looking round it.
In places it reminded me of Fortitude, did you ever see that? I seem to be the only person in the world who has! -
— 4 years ago(May 23, 2021 12:33 PM)The first series was actually the best haha! It wasn't clear whether it was supernatural or not so it was intriguing.
The third series was just off the scale nuts with Richard Dormer's character, Dan turning psycho, but I thoroughly enjoyed that part of it.
I genuinely believe I'm the only person in the entire world who loved it so I get where you're coming from -

Dan the sheriff was almost literally chewing the scenery. The relationship between the two scientists, Vincent and the woman who's name I can't remember, who were alternatively infected and/or blinded at different points in those series, kinda made me queasy too.
What was Michael Gambon doing at the end? Telling Dan he was going to hell? -
— 4 years ago(May 23, 2021 01:29 PM)Gambon's character died in the first series, he was terminally ill, there was a sub plot about people not being allowed to die in Fortitude. Yes, basically he was telling Dan that there would be no afterlife for him due to him being somewhat deranged.
Ah, I'm feeling nostalgic for this nonsense now.
