While I love the cast, I'm sorry that Tobias won't be playing Francis Crozier. Oh well, maybe the lead next time.

I never liked the vagueness of the first announcement, that's why I was skeptical all along.
Other than Tobias, of all the other actors officially cast, I would have pictured Ciaran Hinds as Crozier, but he is playing Franklin instead.
I am sure Tobias will ace it, but I would have liked him to play a role that was more of a departure for him, both as a lead and in terms of background, though it's true that we don't get to see him play all-round nice very often.

Well, Tobias gets to work with Ciaran Hinds again. They had amazing chemistry together in
Rome
.
I'm hoping they boost Tobias and I'm sure he'll be terrific. I think he'll have some great things in the offering in the future. He can play character parts, leads and do action.
Outlander
proved that he can also play a romantic lead.
