You should give it a chance. I started it twice myself, so I'm speaking as someone who wasn't sure about it at first but it's actually worth a watch. It gets kind of anxiety inducing towards the end. The villain is S2 is a proper ****.
Watching The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, a couple of those mini series based on true stories (varying quality on those), Alien Earth, uhm…and I started a Scottish cold case type series that I have to finish. Rewatched Hidden/Craith. If you never saw that deeeefinitely worth getting hold of. -

Not seen Hidden - will check.
I also watched the New Zealand show The Gone and enjoyed it.
I watched ep 1 of this and it's hot garbage:

Hidden is the most beautifully shot and the most haunting of all of these Britcrime series I've seen so far. Do get to it. You'll see what I mean. The cases aren't really whodunits, but why whydunits. And the cinematography is stunning.

Still enjoying this. First show in a while I look forward to the new episode coming out.
The story could have been developed more but some of the acting's really good.
Ser Criston Cole (Grasso) is a bit of a dead ringer for Christopher Moltisanti.
