You make a good point and I am glad you brought that up. Is money indicative of a quality movie? We both know that Star Wars is a superior franchise to Twilight. But I think it all depends on the target audience. We are not the target audience of Twilight. Its obvious Twilight has a huge following because the last movie made $830 million even though the critics hated it. If you were a 12 yr old girl then you would probably love the movie.
Here's the million dollar question: if 2 movies make a similar amount of money what makes one movie worse than the other? Or do we judge a movie based on money, opinion or ratings?
