Because an argument is always solved by pointing out an unrelated film in another franchise.

Well, the ship is a 20,000 plus years old scoutship (built for the crew to use, it's not the Kryptonian Pentagon) that Zod basically invaded and had his tech guys (which are fellow prisoners, not the top scientists and engineers of Krypton) just fix the system ASAP so he could fly it.
So fingerprint reader I wasn't that bothered by. How
      Lex knew about
the fingerprint reader annoys me though.
      Also, this

Did you actually pay attention to the film? The ship didn't "know" Zod was dead. Zod's fingerprints opens the doors, not dead Zod's cold fingers, but a warm, live body. That's why he used the fingerprints on his own hand and not just use Zod's hand itself. Second, the AI doesn't "know" that he's dead, not until his body was in the liquid did it know he was dead so maybe paying full attention to what's happening in the film instead of trying to look for things to hate wouldn't yield stupid questions like this one? There's nothing wrong with him using the fingerprints the way that he did, he obviously tried his own fingers first and saw that it didn't work so he deduced that it would only work with Zod's. Not that big of an issue, really.

Really, nothing in this movie was that big of an issue to understand. It is just terribly written.

            .
I know, right, especially with Zod's ACTUAL body being in the ship.

Zod's body wasn't on the ship, it was in the facility that housed the ship.
And it was brilliantly written, by Chris Terrio specifically, who's already won an oscar - for writing lol.
This topic is an example of you misunderstanding the movie, not it being poorly written.

I hope you're not serious. this was easily, hands down, one of the worst scripts I've ever seen put to film.

It's probably safest for you not to assume things.
Especially when I've shown more knowledge than you on the very movie you try defending at every turn.
Okay let's simplify things, it's probably safest for you to just not respond to me. because I'm going to be honest, but I'm pretty much done dealing with you. You're a brain damaged little twat and as much fun as it's been destroying you in the past, it's gotten boring. I expect more from my punching bags than their entire argument consisting of "Nuh uh".

wow thank you for proving me right, again. you've shown zero knowledge of anything. you've only shown how utterly pathetic you are and what a total c#nt you are, not to mention delusional since you keep lying to yourself about destroying my arguments, even though you actually proved them. you have no punching

Its one of the most incompetent scripts I've ever seen, but not one of the worst. I've seen far worse. That doesn't mean its good. The script is still terrible, but its not one of the worst scripts.

You would still be hard pushed to find such a bad script attached to a $250+m budget film but I am sure that some do exist.
To make a great film you need three things - the script, the script and the script -Alfred Hitchcock

We do have some that exist with that issue. Pirates of the Caribbean 3 and 4, Amazing Spider-Man 2, Transformers: Age of Extinction. Just because of how much money it had attached or made doesn't equate to quality.

Precisely. Lex uses Zod's fingerprints to get inside the ship. Once he activates it the ship is obeying Lex.

Because it was at 32%. Actually here's another better question: if its at that percentage, how is the ship have enough power to make Doomsday? I don't think it would have that much power and time to process and make Doomsday.
Also what government gives away their property to a rich billionaire and allow it? Why don't you stop him?
