I agree.
In fact, I've asserted that, as unusual as it may seem, THIS iteration of Jonathon Kent showed a better and more realistic understanding of the impact of Clark's very existence than any other we've seen on film or TV. I just thought it was a shame that the rest of the movie didn't also reflect it.

Oh yes, that dumbass is extremely jealous when another butthurt fanboy gets all the attentions. Remember how crazy he went when Odum put him on ignore; the girl had this incredible meltdown, or when Dennis was receiving all the attention. Who would this guy be?
