I don't understand all the hate

I've been reading some of the comments on this board, and seriously you would think this movie had killed some of the poster's mothers. Who were definitely NOT named Martha.
This was a pretty good movie, not awesome but not bad but the over-the-top hate for it is actually kind of laughable. -

No, my problem isn't that they don't follow the comics. My problem is that I don't think they work as films and I just find them really boring. I'm fine if you like them, that's cool, but I don't really like them as films regardless of the source material.

I don't understand all the hate
We seem to have the same problem: I don't understand all the love.
But why all the hate for the DC movies.
why all the love?
I thought they were good
I think they are a pretentious "artsy" pile of dung.
Man of steel was great.
Man of steel was aweful with some good shots. But it does have TORNADOCIDE.
Suicide squad was entertaining.
My eyes rolled all the way to the back of my neck.
And this BvS was good.
No, no it wasn't. It's god damn awful.
They were all entertaining and better than most boring action flicks the movies have been churning out.
I rather watch 50 shades of Grey.
I don't know much into the comic lore but I know the basics.
Superman - good guy, simbol of hope. Not some whining Emo punk.
Batman - either a good detective with some very heavy hints of being a pederast, or a traumatized psychopath. Chose one.
Lex - bald guy that hates superman and wants to take over the world shtick.
WonderWoman - Bondage glutton
Lois - blind to the fact that she doesn't know who Clark is without glasses, also a glutton for suicide.
Jimmy - Superman's best friend, not a CIA agent.
Doomsday - a Kryptonian made up creature that simply doesn't die. "Kills" superman the good ol' fashion way with ease.
Zod - who cares?
But I feel like the movies don't have to follow the comics to a T because just like the comics change the stories around the movies do too to make it fit in real world film.
Here's the thing: I'm pretty ok with making changes AS LONG AS those changes make sense. Making Superman a whining bitch makes zero sense and is against his whole point. Making Doomsday a Lex and Zod baby is fine except he looked like a LotR Troll and he died; again, against his character. Stopping the movie to show trailers of future characters is also stupid as all hell.
They don't suck as bad as people say and they are pretty cool
Yes they do and they get the hate they deserve.
Dormammu, I've come to bargain! -

because they must hate, it's what they do. it's their hobby to post on a board of a movie they hate for almost a year. then again they still bring up Man of Steel even though it's been 3 years. It's rather surprising that they don't bring up the movies that they love, i would think that would be more enjoyable to have a discussion about movies that they enjoy.
and nope the movies don't have to follow the comics, otherwise.. Cap would be dead in Civil War and if BvS followed The Dark Knight comic.. the fight would've come to a draw after Batman's heart attack.

it's accepted.. what seems to be unacceptable is enjoying the movie or having a measured response against the hate Zack gets. People seem to unable to differentiate between him as a director and him as a human.
it is what it is.. people hate it, people hate Zack.. kind of interesting that no other director really gets tht kind of reaction.
