6 maybe 7/10 at a push. Another example of a leftist movie getting a critical reception way beyond its station.
Minimal character development, a flimsy plot, no depth. LDC is just playing a hipster version of Rick Dalton. At no point did he feel like a properly fleshed out character.

Excellent analysis.
You’ll notice that all the Leftists here cannot defend the film, they simply hurl ineffective abuse at the normal people pointing out its obvious flaws.
It fully deserves its box office failure.
DiCaprio once again compensates for having no natural gravitas by throwing yelling fits. We’ve seen all this before and it’s not impressive. -
