Get the hell out of my house! I've never been to Austria but I'm pretty sure it's not cool anywhere to walk into someone's house, make your way upstairs, interrogate children, and refuse to leave until you get a donation.

That was pretty stupid 2 red cross donation seekers opening an unlocked door, walking in, looking around, going upstairs EVEN. I don't care if you announce your intentions and who you are - you don't do that anywhere in any civilized country.
Then the 2 idiots had the audacity to demand Elias show them where they can wait. They weren't asking if they could wait, they just waited. Then they question the donation amount, mumble something about how expensive and big the house looks so the boy's family could afford to donate that much.

Former Hitler Youth retirees. Who can figure 'em?

Exactly. Germans and Austrians are a really intrusive, nosey type of people. I can see them helping themselves all around the house. Trying to dig up some dirt or drama.

Sounds like you guys never encountered people from the camp of Jehovahs Witness.

'The Watchtower' has come around here plenty, and African-American in persuasion.

I'm not a member of the faith, but a member of a nation which respects the rights of all to their faith. I find your comment disgusting and slanderous.
No Jehovah's Witness would ever, by the sanction of their church, enter someone's house without permission (except perhaps when it makes common sense, like to rescue someone in distress) nor would they solicit donations from children.
No religion is perfect, but implying that JW's follow anything but the most respectable protocols for their religious work is absurd and flat out bigoted.
I fully understand that many people consider an unsolicited knock at their door or ringing of their bell to be an "intrusion", but the JW's do not stay where they are not wanted and are not in the practice of forcing their views on anyone else. If you politely decline their offer of literature and request for a donation at your door, they will politely leave and move on to the next house. From their point of view, they are trying to save your soul. They are not trespassers.
Be certain of this, Kim, the next time someone says "Korean, Japanese, Chinesewho cares? They're all the same." I will put up a good verbal fight on your behalf. Please don't make silly jokes at the expense of others' faith or the reputation of same.
Love is like breathing. You have to take some in and let it out to live.

slanderous or not it was my post with my personal view which was personified by my personal experiences
dont expect everyone to fit into the mold you only approve. every comment against your personal view is probably slanderous and or disgusting isnt it? thats judgement and why bring racial tension into your comments to highlight your point of view. shouldnt go there to argue your points across.
i dont have time to type long ass essays because i have life outside internet and frown from anything longer than few words in most cases so my first post may feel short, misconstrued, ill mannered.
i dont mind healthy dosage of guidance but i draw a line when they visit every 3-4 weeks, pressing the doorbell and sending me text messages despite asking them to stop. i can add mormon people to this as well. a NO is a NO.
yeh, in my books - jehova witness is filth. i have personally seen a young korean girl die from a long lasting illness because their parents do not believe in blood transfusion (jehova witness). her death was broadcasted very publicly in Sydney and she was a neighbour. that is simply wrong. i watched a beautiful girl wither away and die over a strech of 2 years. a slow death for her, slow torture for anyone watching.
"i personally believe that any religion that causes death to even just one person does not justify its messages of the greater good"
would you kill 1 person to save a million? my answer is no.
and the world would be ALOT different if everyone answered NO to the question above. ISIS wouldn't exist if the answer is NO. holy war wouldnt have started if everyone answered NO. religion has caused more death than most of the disease out there and that is a statistical fact.
once again, only my perspective for the thinkers out there who happen to stumble upon our love chat.
my world my perspective and yes i am korean so what.
                  thanks 🙂

Holy crap I was in awe at that part, lol. I know there's always the chance that it's just a cultural difference, but this was just crazy. They're all "oh, the door's unlocked, guess we should check every square inch of the house!".
