Well there is a famous video game with the same title. That house we see in that movie trailer does look similar to the house in the video game. That's the end of the similarity as far as I can see.
The plot is entirely different. I don't think this is a film adaptation of the video game Until Dawn.

I thought this one was a really kick-ass blast. I totally dug the surprisingly brutal violence and in-your-face nasty graphic gore. 7 out of 10 exploding bodies from me.
