Saw this tonight, and it was playing on 15 screens to massive crowds. Not Avengers Endgame level crowds, but easily large enough to be the top grossing movie of 2025.
I don't really remember that much about previous installments, so this may or may not have recurring characters from the previous movies, idk. I think so. Seemed to just combine elements of all previous movies, so if you are a JP fan, guess you'll love this one, or hate it. They introduced new mutant dinosaurs this time around, so you have that new thing to look forward to, as well as the main girl having quite a nice rack.
They go to some island, I guess an island from previous movies, to get samples of 3 rare dinosaurs they need to make a cure for heart disease. IDK the how or why of how they know to do that, but I guess they need something to propel the plot forward, be that as it may.
The characters are illogical and dumb, never making the smart move but always coming out ahead. At least the "good" ones. The bad ones die in the traditional way, which we've already seen in every JP movie.
It doesn't sound all that great, but it's actually pretty entertaining. Just go see it, or don't.

It's an OK film, a nod back to the original films - but not much of a script and perhaps influenced by The Meg.
My favourite moment is near the start, in the Museum as they close the dinosaur exhibition. They sit on a bench and Scarlet's feet don't reach the floor so she swings them like kid. Not sure if it's intentional on her part, but it was cute.
