You are not running for public office. Spare us Coogler's failed attempt at presenting Black victimhood on the big screen for the 10,000th time.
The only poster who had his account banned 4 times without ever breaking any rules each of those times. -

I saw it and enjoyed it. Although it is very overrated. Michael B. Jordan is an average actor.
What hurt the Film was not exploring Remmick more.
Remmick was by far the most interesting character on the entire film.
Also, Twin Brothers or not.
Once one became a Vampire he would not have kept an agreement to spare Sammy.
Vampires are ruthless , regardless of what their race is or was before they were turned.
Vampires only think of two things once they are turned, Drinking blood and turning as many regular folks into creatures like themselves.
So he would not have let him live to an old age without bothering him or going after him. Hence the meeting him in the jazz club scene that took place 60 years later in 1992.
So ur absolutely wrong. I not only saw the film but I saw it twice.

Not all vampires are evil or ruthless: Edward and his family in "Twilight"; Louis in "Interview with a Vampire"; Angel in "Buffy, The Vampire Slayer"; Michael in "Lost Boys"; Barnabas in "Dark Shadows"
Remmick isn't evil. His character is complex which makes him interesting. In a way, he identified with the persecuted black people likely because he was also persecuted. First, in Ireland, then in the U.S..
If you think about it, Remmick empowered both brothers from racism when he turned them into vampires. One could be with his girlfriend and the other killed the klan.
It reminds me of TV's "Interview with a Vampire" because Creole Louis is empowered.
There was plenty about Remmick, but not enough about the Choctow. I'm borrowing the DVD which has plenty of extras including 20-minutes of outtakes. -

It was far too different to be considered a ripoff. It'd be like saying Ironman is a ripoff of Batman Begins because they both follow a billionaire turning his life around and using his money to fight crime.
So many stories, so little time.
