I don't get defensive with it when a Brit puts it down because they have way the hell better gun laws then we ever do.

I've only shot a pistol once. And like as a kid, I had a BB gun lol. I'm not good. Inexperienced. I do wanna get a gun one day, but after learning houw to shoot better and if there's a safety course.

There is no such thing as a free lunch.
People with violent backgrounds shouldn't have guns either.
On that we are at least half agreed. On the other hand there is something to be said for the idea of collecting some of the planets most violent felons, arming them to the ****ing teeth and dropping them in North Korea or Iran.

First. Someone pays for that food. Perhaps not you but someone. Someone always pays.
Second, obviously we give them a pack full of ammo, a parachute and give them the unloaded weapon last. As for doing what we want, they won't have much choice. it is either fight like hell or suffer the not so tender mercies of one of the two most brutal tyrannical regimes on the planet. They will fight. Or they will die. Likely both. Either way not much is lost.
