This garbage is shallow af with a blatant political agenda.
It's basically about how men are bad, masculinity is toxic, and even 13 year old boys are the spawn of Satan that abuse women by simply existing.
They really wanted the audience to hate this 13 year old male and to ignore the fact that he's a child.
They clearly preferred that people feel bad for the oppressed psychologist who couldn't put her personal feelings aside and stop pretending to be a victim of toxic masculinity from a child.
Was there a single man in this show that wasn't portrayed negatively? Even the detective guy was portrayed as an absent father and a dismissive asshole whereas the female detective was a victim of some gender war bullshit regarding headlines. -

They could have portrayed even one man in a positive way. Every single man in the show was portrayed negatively and all the women were eternal victims and subservient to the oppressive patriarchy.
It wasn't well done. It's absurd and unrealistic. -

So it's ok to kill a girl out of frustration but not ok for aforementioned girl to say mean words out of frustration?
The "bullying campaign" was a set of very specific emojis on Instagram, indicating his misogynistic view on girls was well known.
I.e. they were likely in response to things he had previously said done.
He was also bullied by boys, why did he target the girl and not them?
