I'm glad you liked it. This is a Swedish character.
My mom got this book for me, but I wanted the older American one, an English girl perhaps, from the Northeast or East. This is a holiday gown.

My mom's mom was a tailor, sometimes designed wedding gowns I think. I also made my own patterns my own way. I used them to perform on piano for high school Talented Music. It wasn't like those dresses, though, which are also too fancy for me to have made. I did make others. They were plain, some accessories sometimes, like the vest with the ribbon (over the dress with the ribbon in front,) and a ribbon around the waist.
