Mars, Earth and Belters?

I'm trying to remember from season 1 but can't, why don't Mars and Earth like each other? And Belters are neither from Earth or Mars right?

They are like different nations now. Mars became independent from Earth they see Earth as a rival for power in the Solar System while both nations consider the Belters less than human.
