It wasn't as sharp as the original 3 were. But then they culminated in 2 1/2 and so it can be a wishy washy genre to master.
Family Guy and Ted have managed to bring comedy back. If entering into the foray of what can't be said is back on the cards for parodies then that's exactly a healthy thing for society to have. Holding a mirror up to authoritarianism is exactly what has been missing since Obama. Partially understood due to reverence for finally seeing that divide conquered in the US for leadership inequality standards but that's not an excuse to drop it all together.
Unless you can mock those running the joint you are imprisoned. And those keeping you in there are never nice people. Mock them and make them say "Oh, I was younger back then" as their excuse for outright deplorable behaviours

Then completely ignores its existence and gets on with its own thing
There's plenty of laugh out loud moments Bobby. It's certainly good to be able to do that again from a mainstream piece of cinema

I went twice to the cinema last week to see this and Weapons.
I think this is a 4/10 movie you would watch on a Sunday where you've exhausted every streaming service and you've just been in a car accident that resulted in 95% of your brain being removed.
I love the naked gun movies but this is direct to Netflix trash
