These are the three Henry productions I've seen. (also saw the Tudors but didn't impress).
What I like about each show is that they tell the same story from a different perspective.
In Man for all Seasons (1966) we see the world from Thomas More's point of view.
In The Six Wives of Henry VIII (1970) we see the world from King Henry's point of view.
And in this excellent production (2015) we see the world through Cromwell's eyes.
Each production well worth the watch and more! Taken as a whole, the trio is reminiscent of Kurosawa's Rashomon, wherein several people witness the same event yet each recall the event quite differently.

• I think it's scheduled on TCM this week if you're in the US. Burton's Henry is worth watching.

Thanx. I don't have a TV but I threw a copy in my Netflix queue. Definitely up for seeing how Richard Burton interprets the role.

Interesting. I see John Colicos is playing Cromwell. I assume Cromwell is villainized in this production. It's interesting because a decade later he played the villain in the original Battlestar Galactica (Baltar).
