Completely agree with you! I hope the people who make the casting decisions read this board because Vanessa Ferlito is really ruining the show for me.
She's abrasive, she's a narcissist, she ALWAYS has the duck face/pursed lips thing going on and I just can't stand her "holier/ more superior" attitude she always has.
The put Jennifer Esposito on the original NCIS, and she's pretty good. Who dropped the ball by putting Ferlito on this?? She is useless and annoying.

I don't like either of this season's female agents. I thought Shalita Grant's character was obnoxious, but they really upped the biatch quotient with Ferlito. The producers need to fire them both, and hire a decent actress who can kick ass and maintain her composure. Since when do women have to be ball busters to be tough? Brody did just fine.

she is quite possibly the most annoying character i have ever seen. like others have said here herm grumpy face and terrible acting is honestly going to make me stop watching this show. Which is a shame cos I like most of the other cast and location.

Some people are put off by certain looks on women but could give two shyts about men who look like frogs. I'm not a fan of Ferlito either but it has nothing to do with her looks. Her acting style is not my cup of tea, but I would take her over that Brody character any day, she was boring.

I can't say that I have ever seen this actress before so I don't know anything about her but I know from the few episodes I have seen her in I do not like her. I never watch CSI NY. I'm a big fan of all the other characters and I think they all work well together as a team but she is not a good fit to them or the team. I don't know why Brody left but I wish she would come back.

Tammy (Ferlito) is really hard to look at. I look away when she is on screen. Her lip transplant is giving me nightmares. I can't tell if she's pouting them out intentionally, but it looks like it.
I haven't heard of Federal Agents with half their fake boobs pouring out, high heel shoes and painted on pants. I read and agree with all the other comments here. She needs to go, before I get tired of looking away in horror.
I have seen her before she butchered her lips, she was very pretty. Peer pressure is hard to fight for some people, I feel sorry for her. -

Completely agree with you on all points. I've quit watching since she came on board. I really miss the show, but until she's gone, I can't watch.

I do not think she is a good fit this show.
I'm watching the latest episode now and it struck me that she never smiles. Her facial expression never changes.
I am a big fan of Scott Bakula, and that has kept me in it.

Yep. Not a fan of the character or the actress. Hate the pursed lips look, the aggressive stance, the cocked head and heavy lidded eyes as her fall back and go to expression, loathe the boobs bursting through the shirt look in tight jeans that both female characters go for in a VERY hot city. Hate the whole "I am superior coz I am a strong woman" shtick that bad writers seem to feel all strong minded young females should espouse and most of all don't think Ms Ferlito can act. Please let the FBI take her back to DC.

Well I don't like the "boobs bursting out unbuttoned look" when worn to work as its not a very professional look. Belongs on the weekend when out having fun!!!!! Secondly have been to New Orleans and it is a very hot place. Who would wear boots and super tight jeans in a job that can be very physical? You would melt into a puddle and fall over from heat exhaustion.
Thirdly you say she adds to the show and yet there are so many folks who don't see it that way including me. That is what this thread is about!!!!! I think she detracts from the show greatly as her poor acting makes me cringe. I hoped as time went by she would settle in to the role but it does not seem to be happening. If you like her then please start a thread to say so and balance this one out!!!!! -

With the outfit, lol, many shows do this. It is rare that anyone is actually wearing what would be deemed appropriate on the job. As for those who don't care for her, I wouldn't go by what is posted on IMDB boards as they are notorious for people to "crap" on what they don't like. Now if you go to Facebook, I would say it's half & half. But even if you combine everyone who goes on to any of these boards, it doesn't even make up 1/2 of the viewers. The only way to get a true basis would be if a petition was sent out, or the powers that be surveyed everyone who watches.
I personally see nothing wrong with her, but I'm easy going when changes occur. I do note that on every show I watch, people have a very hard time with change no matter what or who it is. -
