How about none of them? No current Black or Native American have suffered through slavery or genocide and they have the same opportunities that everyone else has if they make something of themselves. I'm hispanic but I do not want financial compensation for what happened to my ancestors, that is ridiculous.

I have empathy for the Am. Indians and all the **** they still go through as a result of the genocide and forced relocations of them.

I feel bad as well but every race (whites included) have had something bad happen to them. Now look at the Native Americans. They have the casino industry which is a multi billion dollar industry and that alone right there can get them a lot of financial compensation.

The only ones who benefit from those casinos are the tribes that own them and not every tribe has them.
In another post here I already mentioned this.

Nope. Both Pride and Junteenth are gimmick holidays. Like what a person might ask a white supremacist I can ask the same of those that are homosexual or woke. Why be proud of something you had no genetic choice over? Being gay or being black is not a personal accomplishment.

I think gays want more attention and less discrimination.
Blacks want the day that officially ended slavery to be recognized which I don't disagree with.
That is something to celebrate.
OK now that you are no longer slaves how about working on not being violent towards each other?

I still find it strange since I went to school in the 80's and 90's and never once heard of this day. Regardless if it's a federal holiday or not, I would think the school curriculum would still teach about it.
