The acting and dialogue are comical.
And the girl working at the Fish and Game Dept. looks like Dave Chapelle's twin sister.
Terrible things Lawrence. You've done terrible things.

It was entertaining, but the overall concept was too common as monster movies go. Sharknado was just a whole other level of ridiculousness.

The plot wasn't outlandish enough. It basically ripped off a bunch of movies like Piranha 3D and others.

It aspires to be the new Sharknado in ridiculousness, but completely lacks the charm (if that's the right word). Whatever you do, don't pull them off. Well, I guess sometimes you do.

No. Sharknado was a lot better. With that said, this was dumb fun too.

I believe you're confusing this with SHARKNADO 2. Personally, the only good thing I can say about BLOOD LAKE is that, even at its corniest, it was still way better than SHARKNADO 1!

Sharknado really played up the comedy a lot more, I thought. Especially Sharknado 3.

This movie was comedy from start to finish. When Shannen Doherty set out that plate of giant cinnamon rolls I lost it.
