I don't know why I'm laughing so hard, because it is utterly juvenile and immoral, yet Divine got away with it.

You got triggered and had a meltdown.
We get it.
Thank you for being lazy to let me win this argument and to keep on showing how straights are better than gays since I am not the one with the name calling.
Cooler heads prevail.

Some man attempted to organize a straight pride parade a few years ago and was loudly criticized for it so much that I think he ended up canceling those plans.
If a dude is proud he is straight, all the best to him, but that is not what gay pride parades are ostensibly about. Straight people are accepted as "normal" in society and always have been. Gay pride is about those that have been shunned and persecuted by their straight counter-parts throughout much of history and all it is really saying, is that……
were here, were queer, get used to it!
Or so to speak if I was to simplify it.
The thing that has tainted gay pride though, is that is has all been lumped into that confounded alphabetical soup of LGBTQI whatever. It become about more than just being about homosexuality and a straight forward, (no pun intended), inherent natural sexuality.
One has to recognize Warren too, that it is the hets that are doing the breeding and need to take onus and responsibility for the humans they create and they are not going to all live up their limited expectations of what is perceived as "normal".
What do straight people have to feel proud about, when they have shoved their own sexuality into everyone else's faces and pretty much project that anyone who isn't one of us is wrong? How can a person be wrong about their being?
Not to mention that straight dudes can be boring as f<>k, though I have met some gay dudes that can be quite dull as well.

I think or suspect a reason for this straight pride parade that was suggested was that perhaps the organizer felt threatened by the new times of how much more we are hearing and seeing gays now.
Esp. since they got the right to marry.
I think they are now living in times, at least in America dunno about the rest of the world, where they don't have to hide nearly as much as they used to in the closet.
I don't think that should be the intent behind a straight pride parade or day or whatever though I do think one should have the right to express themselves if they want to as long as it is not harming anyone.
"What do straight people have to feel proud about, when they have shoved their own sexuality into everyone else's faces and pretty much project that anyone who isn't one of us is wrong? How can a person be wrong about their being?"
I don't disagree with that.
I think it is wrong when one gets killed or executed or murdered for their sexual orientation, as they do in Iran, or even if they have cheated or didn't please her husband sexually or just thinks of sex at all as they do with Sharia Law.
"She exposed her ankle when she scratched it under her burka. Stone the bitch to death!"
We have a hell of a long way to go when it comes to certain things that pertain to sex and the acceptance of those differences and I think it starts with men being big time super control freaks about it.

The west has more freedom's for expression and the younger generations aren't so prejudiced. If straight dudes are also feeling put out by other guys hitting on them, its just too bad as well. You just say "Thank you but not interested!".
I feel this is a large part of the insecurity of straight males, they don't like being confronted with this. How do they feel females feel then, when dudes are constantly hitting on them?
Somewhere like the Middle East and other Islamic dominated countries, this is the sick and toxic part of their cultures and all hiding behind a shield of this Allah thing. Its about control, dominance and the patriarchy gone to seed.

I have heard that justification before from a gay man who hit up on me once which figures since I was in the gay district known as The Castro in San Freakpsycho, when I lived there.
The reason why I feel offended by that rational is because I am not the type of guy or too shy to hit up on women in the same manner.
Like I would chat with her for a bit after seeing her at a few events or hang out with her as friends first or getting to know her for a bit before getting to first base.
I would just let things unfold or happen at a natural pace and then when it felt right hold her hand or go for the first kiss.
So I find it unfair to paint us all with the same brush as if we all approach women in all of the same ways.
I get it that a gay man does not know who else is gay or straight and there are the types that will just go for anything that moves just like how there are straights that do the same.
I assume there are also gay men who take a slow and steady approach as I do not by hitting up on someone they like right away but seeing how it goes and let it happen instead.

Where the hell is the pride month for straight white dudes?
You could always organize a community group to start one. If there are no rainbows though

, you will have to come up with an emblem and you will have to make it look like a fun and worthwhile experience full of vibrancy and creativity if you want folks to attend.

I don't think that would work either.
I just think the SJW PC crowd is so brainwashed into feeling like straight pride is oppressing gays even if they wanted to express themselves even though there was no homophobic intent behind it.
I think to pull off straight pride they would have to be inclusive of the gays.
That or else word it in a way to calm the fears of the anti-homophobic sensitive crowd but I'm not sure if even that would be enough.

Due to the heteronormative representations in society that are pushed and plugged at every turn, there is really nothing straights have to celebrate. They haven't been oppressed as a sexuality.
Gay pride is inclusive of anyone who wants to join in, but straights would need to know what it is they are having to be prideful about concerning a
Straight Pride Parade
and more importantly, why? The truth is, most straight dudes just aren't as internally aligned with their feminine side. Its all about external aspects of femininity and its image as well in the eyes of others.
Look how easy straight chumps are easy to brainwash throughout history by the establishment, by sending them off to war to fight for nationalistic pride bullshite.

I don't care to get involved.
Why would you if you are straight? You need a reason, or agenda to want to get involved. Many gay guys don't care for it either. It panders more to the exhibitionist side of the personality.

Not in the least!
Why should there be a month to celebrate someone's sexual behavior?
Should heterosexuals get a month to proclaim
"Woo Hoo! Look at us! We like to have sex with the opposite sex! Aren't we special!!"
STOOPID!
MAGA! FAFO!
Schrodinger's Cat walks into a bar, and doesn't.
Dumbocraps: evil people who celebrate murder.

Good points MM.
Yeah, if they can shove their sexuality in our faces shouldn't we have the right to do it back to them without any worries of being called, "homophobic?"
What gives them the right to do it to us but not us to them?
