      I didn't think so Cruise always has a certain debonair/charisma about his looks, while Adam's character seemed more 'nerdy' to me. The nose eh, maybe. But seemed more nerdy upper-class 'hippie' type, that finally buckles down with the brother-in-laws 'armory from Lucinda' to help defend the family. Which was a neat somewhat personality twist. Loved those rifles with the high-powered lights on the end of them.
      3rd generation American from a long line of Gottscheers it was Drandul, dude!

        To be fair he didn't look like Cruise much at the start of the movie.
        Only the action parts.

          More like Ray Romano and after seeing a part of Everybody Loves Raymond while my wife channel flipped the other night, I sort of wonder if they re-imagined that show's crude family with this one the parts aren't exactly the same, but the actors picked for Krampus all have a very E. L. Raymond 'feel' to them. We just didn't have a grandfather figure
