There is much evidence to support the watching them theory, but I will keep it brief. The Tie-In comic explicitly supports this. In the first shot of the inside of the house, A Christmas Carol is on the television. In a way, Krampus is a reworking of A Christmas Carol. In A Christmas Carol, Scrooge wakes up to find that none of it physically happened, but he has knowledge(Krampus' bell in here) that he could never have had, were it not real.

If you see the cut scenes, you will see that the in-laws were good people in their own way. There were two nice bonding scenes between the sisters, and their husbands that were HEAVILY trimmed for the film. In them we see that both sides have their own good, and bad points, and that deep down they are all good people, even the aunt. It just took Krampus to remind them of that. This is why they are so nice when they come back, because of those scenes where they made amends with one another that were trimmed for time. So I can't see Krampus coming back so soon myself with that information.
Oh, and in your original post you asked if Krampus was Santa, Jesus, or the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. I think the best comparison would be the Ghost of Christmas past. He reminds people of the important things they have let slip by that truly matter, and the memories of love for one another. -

Very well said! So was another post of yours I saw in another threat explaining that it 'leans' on it being a 'good' ending.
Actually best comparison of Krampus all 3 of the spirits from A Christmas Carol. He's shows the people how they were, and could be, but during the present. This gives a better shock to those that sacrifice for the sake of real love. And I don't think any of the characters really 'died'. The mother was almost hung to death by the cherub yes, but the rest were simply knocked out, or dragged away, or taken away.

Well, obviously, but kylo_ben seemed to want one in particular out of the lot. So I picked past, as Krampus thematically personifies him most.

Good point, even with the other people taken we never saw any dismembered body parts or definitely lethal situations(the frozen driver could have been in shock and almost dead.) They could have been taken unconsciously(or NEAR death) too, rather than killed.
As time goes on, I have come around to thinking the snow globes are more of ways for Krampus to view those he helped the most(the truly good people.) He did this to at least the whole county, and there weren't enough snow globes for everyone living there. So I'd like to think he has a soft spot for these people, and in his own twisted way gets all warm and fuzzy thinking of them. -

I took it to mean they were trapped in Krampus' personal collection, never to feel the joy of Christmastime (or life, for that matter) again. But then, I do love a bummer ending, so maybe I just took it that way because I'm a morbid @sshole.
I'm not sure I understand your second question. At least the first part of it. As far as what spirit Krampus might represent, I'll say Christmas Present. Like, presently, you are a bunch of d!cks, so it's into the snow globe with you. -

Krampus gave the grandma an ornament as a reminder, and so does to the boy. Krampus wouldn't have bothered to give him a reminder if they're all trapped in a snow globe.
The German lady's family were all killed. But the boy's family learned to look-out and care for each other thus, were given a second chance.
Plus, the boy saw the neighbor's house. -

It's kind of ambiguous. First time I watched it, I thought he kept the snowglobe and was just watching them. The second time, I thought they were really trapped in there and put in his trophy case.

You could look at the snow globe as they're trapped in there, or that Krampus is watching them. You could even look at it as a kind of trophy for Krampus when he does a good job and they finally understand the true spirit of Christmas.
Personally I like either them being watched or the trophy theory. I don't like the idea of them being trapped - there's some information in the film that would contraadict that a bit, but just choose which one you prefer and makes you happy.
