Seriously? She's gorgeous and adorable and absolutely perfect for this role. I had no idea who she was before this and I really like her. This show, in case you haven't noticed, is supposed to be empowering and inspiring to women. It has a huge theme of powerful women getting and fighting for the respect they deserve. The fact that you think the casting of Supergirl should have been to cater to the "straight guys watching" means you've completely missed the point of the show and really need to move on.
Also I can't believe you call her out for not being attractive enough and then in the next breath degrade her for showing her "lady parts". Seriously? -

How about you don’t type out a paragraph about how someone isn’t “even average” then talk about classy. Melissa Benoist is 100% a beautiful actress who deserves to be in that show. nobody gives a flying fVck if one straight dude doesn’t like her.
