I don't normally do this sort of thing anymore, but I'm surprised so many people are whining like there's no tomorrow. I see both positive and negative comments above, the positive stuff I see are from people who actually enjoyed the episode as a whole, and the negative stuff is pretty much about how little we saw of the Flash. It was made CLEAR some time ago by pretty everyone, pretty much everywhere (twitter, facebook, youtube, etc) that the Flash would show up at the END of the episode, those who got the message, like me, really enjoyed the episode, but those who didn't are acting like this episode doesn't count as a crossover episode.
I knew Barry was coming at the end, so I didn't sit and wait for him the whole episode, and I personally very much count this as a crossover episode for the full 4 nights. Supergirl is a great show, and it's the only show of the four I watch, but I will watch the others for the rest of the crossover. Sorry to those who are a bit disappointed, but try to enjoy the three nights, I know I will. -

To each their own! This has got to be one of the worst shows I have seen in ages! I watch Flash and Arrow and enjoy both shows.
You may be right, I might be crazy, but it just may be a lunatic you are looking for! -

I did feel a little cheated even though I knew it was coming. There's no reason they couldn't have devoted more time to the crossover but I still enjoyed it.
I haven't seen the Flash part yet. Does it pick up where Supergirl left off?

Supergirl and The Flash are the two most popular shows in terms of ratings, Arrow and LOT see fewer viewers.
Also, because Supergirl came from CBS and is in its own universe, there are a lot of Supergirl viewers who do not watch the other 3 shows.
Therefore, the point of the crossover scene in Supergirl was to get Supergirl viewers who do not watch the other 3 shows to tune in to The Flash the next night to watch Kara.
If any Flash/Arrow/LOT fans tuned in to see Supergirl then that was just a bonus.
