Unnecessary sex scenes ruin family viewing

Porn should of course be readily available online. Period. It's part of the liberties of the individual. And nothing is more sacred than the liberties of the individual.
But this flick is more about an intelligent crime than a lesbian love affair. Even so, the intimacy of the dykes could be portrayed without women eating each other's pussies. It is doable. -

I think that is your real problem with the movie. -

That the movie went over your head?
You keep whining that it 'could' have been made without this and that sex scene, like you're saying anything meaningful.
Taxi Driver
'could' have been made without the climactic massacre;
Dumb & Dumber
'could' have been made without the toilet jokes;
Basic Instinct
'could' have been made without the extended sex scenes Has the penny dropped yet?

Just because I stumble down the road like a drunk, that doesn't mean it's the wrong one. -

It's again one of those things I will never understand.
Can't show this up to my kids because it has sex. Doesn't matter me about the violence, couldn't care less if they are watching hero movies with tons of violence, etc. That's ok. Violence is ok. Sex is a thing of the devil that our kids should be protected of ever hearing or seeing about it. It's an act that carries in itself all that is bad in humanity.
Will never understand that mindset.
If you think it could've been made without those scenes, ok, your opinion. I totally disagree with you since sex was a major part of the movie theme.
And the director also thought of it as a natural part of this work.
He could've made the changes and surely he was asked to do this multiple times since there are producers and all that are always trying to make their investment goes to movies where there will be a larger audience. But for reasons he certainly thought the movie wouldn't be worth doing in any other way. That's an artistic choice. Just like Michelangelo chose to sculp his david naked instead of putting a blanket there. The church most surely covered many penises in the cistine chapel during the centuries just because nudity and sex for some reason is purely an evil thing. But Michelangelo's art was not that. -

Who says anything about "evil"?? The kids all over the world are watching porn on their smartphones anyway and I couldn't give a flying f^ck about it. Heck they were watching every sh!t adults did when we humans were roaming the African pastures a few tens of thousand years ago. Were the kids disturbed mentally because they saw two adults copulating? No.
You apparently didn't understand what I'm talking about.
My problem is that it makes me uncomfortable to watch soft-porn when MY kids are sitting next to ME. That's all.
On the other hand, watching images of "blowing brains, guts coming out of peoples bodies, maggots sprouting out of a person's skin" with my kids are fine, they don't bother me. I dunno why, but they just don't. -

Depictions of sex and violence are too entirely different things, and bad for different reasons. When people see sexual images a chemical reaction takes place in the brain producing dopamine, arousing the mind and causing pleasure. This can be addictive as the brain loves to seek out what gives pleasure, hence why porn can become an addition. You don't want to expose kids to that, especially when they are at an age when they are still developing sexually.
Violence isn't ok, but thankfully it does not produce the same effect, and if does, no way near to the level as sexual images, hence why sex in film and tv is regulated so much.

The movie is about the difference between sexual love and loveless sex, as well as the nature of erotica and its exploitation in pornography. These subjects can't be cinematically explored without some graphic content. If your boys aren't mature enough to understand that, then The Handmaiden is not for them.

Yeah!
Same thing with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
All that violence made it very inappropriate for family viewing.
I really wish they had gone another way with it.
