Anyone else disappointed about the octopus?

Great movie, but when they finally got into the basement and showed the giant octopus, was anyone else disappointed that it was only there for a brief moment? I thought for sure it was going to be included in the torture.

There was more water in the ponds in the library! SMH He did have quite the collection on his shelves though.
