I am not going to tell you who will betray me in words but will give him a piece of bread. I am not a tittle tattle or a grass HO HO HO.
I am most likely agnostic. Something did all of this unless we are just that little bit above the beast and remember how close we all are genetically. Some say close to the ape but we are not that far away from MICE either.
My only problem is with RELIGION being a method of stealing money from the many and putting it in the pockets of people who are closer to the idea of Satan than Jesus. Charity has now gone to the dark side and those faiths that are registered as charities are basically thieving and giving pittance to the charities good people hope to assist but in reality are paying wages to parasitical hanger ons. In truth we are [well those who work and buy stuff with our ill gotten gains when we hide our real worth from democratic treasury's are already giving to charity by the 20 and 25% that some governments top up. It like religion has all become a great scam. I feel that our existence in this universe expanding at whatever rate it can makes us all a very small part and what GOD has the time to check it all out. His balancing act if indeed he cares will make sure no astral body hits us??? again??? It is arrogant to think that anything which has existed mire than the 14 billion years we think we know about has us particularly in mind and chooses to converse with us. Unless we are Moses, Jesus, Mohammed peas be upon him, or Joseph Smith and now Ron L Hubbard. Mind you in the later case he like Jesus was not responsible for the following cult.
I have not yet seen this series and will watch with interest as the whole bible story is quite a wonderful one and does I hope assist mankind in doing what is right for fellow man. Any faith which preaches a good attitude to others is to be given credit. But in truth I cannot see how tolerance is acceptable. That is like suggesting that all the runners in the 100 meter's are all winners of the gold medal and and equally fastest. I am sorry but but my FAITH has to be the right one and all the others are false and the world should be made aware of that.
My understanding of the New Testament though is that while the main four Gospels are so differing in some aspects we do have PAUL who seems to have taken over the whole business much in the same way as our modern publicists do and we now have the result as the the Christian part of the Bible. I remember a very well known publicist who GRACED our screens for how many years telling us how it is. Max Clifford. -

How can all you that dont believe in God or think the bible is 'fairy tales' explain all the prophesies that have been proven 100%? Everything that has been predicted in the bible has come true. Just the birth of Christ and all he did had over a hundred different prophesies predicting it. I just cant fathom not believing in Jesus and what he did for all of human kind.I hope you figure it all out soon.

because the "bible" hasn't even been remotely correct about anything since it's a horrible translation of crap taken from the Babylonian bible written 2000 years before it.. a bunch of crazy suicidal natives in Central America guessed more things right than the bible.. you can believe in some fake higher power all you want but don't ever say the bible has predicted anything in history correctly..

Another comment that's as ridiculous as religion. You don't refute anything that your so-called anti-christs say, you just write blather and bull crap. You must be at a high level in your church with such nonsense.

Yeah but people don't watch horror flicks and believe it's all true and then try to force other people to believe it, and decide that because all this stuff is true it means some other people can't do certain harmless things. So it's totally different!

Haha, so true! Though the opposite also happen when films that seem to have a hardon message for anti-Religions happen.
I remember craps posts after posts like that when Davinci's Code and Golden Compass came out.
What I like to know is, why are there a bunch of pro/anti Christians films, but nothing about something much more provoking these days, like Muslim related. Maybe they're afraid of death threat.

Do you have thought. No not about rational thinking or logic when it comes to religion
So why do you pretend your jew messiah has turned up, when your bible proves jewsus is not your jew messiah?

its all down to the yanks and their obsession with god-halellujah
If that's true, why did "Noah" and "Exodus" both lose money in the US? Exodus has become a huge sucking hole that will never recoup its losses, and Noah was universally rejected by American audiences leaving the Europeans to make up its net gains. -

if you look at the bible for what it really is.. "a book with a bunch of fiction stories" instead of what religions try to make you believe.. the stories in themselves are good and actually translate well to semi drama/action movies. just ignore the underlying fake religion crap and watch the movies/shows for the stories they are and you'll actually enjoy them.
i'll probably watch this for a few episodes and see how badly they try to force the church crap before deciding if it's bad or not. -

I
was
a christian - now, well, I don't know. I suppose I could agree with my husband and call myself an agnostic christian. I believe in God, I follow the parts of the bible in the new testament that speaks of kindness and acceptance and I
never
go to church. The latter is too man led and too little God led - case in point, Vatican is
the
richest church in the world, yet they exalt their followers to donate every penny they have to causes and the church (obviously). Any pope who's ever argued that point, mysteriously dies of 'natural causes' and the new one suddenly 'forgets' about the fact the catholic church is so insanely rich..
Anyway, my daughter was a christian; is now, like her dad, an agnostic. She's a truly wonderful person who cares about others so much. Case in point she could've gone to college and done an IT course in game design and marketing (both of which she is
seriously
gifted at); shedloads of money career - she would've even had a job lined up at the end of the course.
But she turned it down to study animal care at a different college because helping animals is her dream (sadly we can't afford for her to study to be a vet). There's also no guarantee of a job when she qualifies; but she only cares about helping the animals. She would go without to help us, and often has offered birthday or christmas money to help us when things were bad. She's only ever got into fights defending others from bullies or abuse. She's 17 and is the light in my life along with her father.
My husband, her dad, is an agnostic. Both of them believe in 'something', but not necessarily a 'religious' something. My husband is the best kind of guy and loves to look after me (my health is shot). I do my best but, as my health continues to fail, so I falter; but he has NEVER complained. They're neither of them perfect; but they're as close as I will ever see a human get in my lifetime.
My parents, my late mum sadly died some six years ago, were/are devout christians. Again lovely people who would do anything for someone in need. When my mum died; three hundred people came to her funeral - she thought only family would, she didn't think she was important. But she'd helped so many they wanted to pay their respects to her: I cried over that I admit. Again they're weren't perfect people, but I loved them to bits; I still miss my mum more now than the day she died.
I have friends who are - to list here: a druid, a pagan and a wiccan (there IS a difference, trust me on that). Another friend is a sikh and still another is a buddhist. My parents in law were/are atheists (my father in law died three years ago).
The ONLY ones to be hateful to others (and not just me); to try to con them, be cruel to them and treat them badly? My atheist in-laws. They were/are the most vilest people I know. My mother in law often doesn't flush her toilet until she knows it will clog up with her poop so that me or my husband will have to fish around in it to clear it (she's 91 and got more evil as she's got older). That's one of her
nicer
traits too; especially where me and my daughter are concerned.
So what someone believes or doesn't believe doesn't make them evil or good. It is the
PERSON
themselves. What I will add here is the most vile behaviour I ever met as a practicing christian came from atheists when they found that simple fact out.
I usually avoided discussing religion because it's personal to each one of us - whether we believe or not. But some people, usually atheists, feel the need to 'preach' about how anyone believing in religion is a nutjob. Even a (now ex) friend tried to hit me and told me my then baby daughter should be taken from me, that I should be 'sent to a camp where your idiocy can be re-educated and you can be sterilised to save the world from more of your kind' and that if I insisted on sticking to my faith then I should be 'removed from life' as I was, according to him, 'tainting the world' with my 'madness'.
Would a religious follower have been accepted talking to an atheist like that? No, of course not and rightly so; so what gives that atheist the right to talk to me like that? My 'crime', apart from my belief, was that all I kept saying was that it was an each to their own situation. He could, or could not, believe whatever he wanted but, by the same token, so could I so we would better to just beg to differ. That only drove him madderbut why?
Never
anyone
from the agnostic/other religions has
ever
treated me like that - with the except of a muslim man who was
very
nasty to me.
I don't necessarily watch these films, as they just don't have the old memories of watching the old movies like Ben-Hur as a family at Christmas or easter; despite all the new ones special effects. I'm also not the christian I once was - does that mean I'd come here to denounce the new films? To ridicule those who, like my father, still stick to their religious beliefs?
No, because I believe in the idea of

You're not an agnostic if you believe in a god. Agnosticism is an ideology of ignorance. Meaning: an agnostic-theist doesn't know if a god exists or not but leans in the direction that one probably does. An agnostic a atheist doesn't know if a god exists but leans in the direction that a god most likely doesn't. I'm an Ignostic-atheist, myself. I feel, firstly, that a coherent and general definition of a god/s should be determined before a discussion of its existence can ever take place. There are billions of "gods" because each individualwho may collectively belong to the same religionall worship the deity in their image.

You sound like a true Christian to me. like the early Christians. Jesus never told us to go to church he told us we were the church. and Revelation is clear that there are no Temples in heaven as God and the Lamb are the Temple religion is created by man. Jesus told us to open ourselves up to the Holy Spirit not to engage in ritual the entire New Testament is a rejection of ritual. sacrifice. going through the motions and the last thing Jesus did before going home was tear down the curtain in the Temple..
Not sure your depth of knowledge but the Pharisees and church leaders believed that only they could have access to God in the Holy of Holies.a room in the temple. hard to get to.I read you had to climb a wall to get there and only the special priest could do it to be close to God FOR the people like once a yearetc. there was a CURTAIN in the Holy of Holies and symbolically this separated the common man from God but not the allegedly special church leadersPharisees
By tearing down the curtain not from the bottom but from the top it signified DIVINE communication from God that no longer was God going to tolerate allegedly special men separating his "church" (church being souls of men and women) from him while they claimed divine license from God..
What I find so ironic is that Jesus tore down one curtain and destroyed the Jewish temple and then the Roman Catholics replaced it with the exact same thing. is the argument that God didn't like the Jewish Pharisees so he wanted new kids on the block to act just like the Pharisees but only with new clothing and cathedrals instead of temples?
I hardly think so
Someone called me agnostic the other day because I no longer believe in "Catholicism"I was pretty upset. agnostic means to doubt there is a God or to be skeptical. as opposed to atheism.. I am the polar opposite of that I love God I love Jesus. I just don't think the Catholic Church is great as an institution. its an out of control beast plenty of wonderful priests multitudes of wonderful Catholics. but, just because I think it is not awesome does not make me agnostic.
I am a true faithful believer in God and Jesus as my savior. I just don't believe in the Catholic church. but the Catholic church, despite its arrogant claims to divinity is not God nor does it have a monopoly on God nor does any other man made religion in my view. and why do I need a middle man (pastor, priest) who is supposedly more special to God than me or saintetc to give me absolution for my sins didn't the tearing down of the curtain mean I, like the Pharisees now have a right to directly pray to God without the middleman??? And even Revelation is clear here too the angel tells John not to worship him or give him praise as the angel, like John, is a servant of God as well so I have to give confession to a priest and not God directly why again???
Nor do I believe I have to align myself with the protestants as some sort of protest against Catholicism as some people define the difference like there is only Catholic and everything else??? hardly. lol
Again..to me faith in God and Jesus is not defined by an opinion of or relationship with or without the Catholic Church or other man made church. that religion just developed power over the years. that's all my relationship is with God and Jesus and the Holy Spirit.I dont define myself by some man made group or denomination nor do I feel I have no right to be part of Jesus' church because I don't attend some mortals human made church
Again so you don't attend a building so what.that doesn't mean you aren't Christian maybe you're not only you know your heart as does God but it drives me bananas when good people(and real Christians instead of mere churchgoers) get turned off to Jesus and or God because of the moronic actions of human dingalings grouping together in buildings and merely claiming whatever they do is okay because its in the name of God
