I was kinda hoping for a confrontation between Reuben and Cornelius.

when they were bringing the statue into the temple and Paul and his peeps knelt in defiance and was joined by Caiaphas and his gang to stop the Romans from bringing the statue further into the temple. there was a moment when Cornelius drew his sword and took a few steps towards Caiaphas I really thought that Reuben would step in between them drawing his sword and a battle between the two would ensue while everyone watched.
but it didn't happen and I don't think Cornelius would've fought except as a form of suicide because he was very conflicted at this point.
all throughout the series I thought those two would fight or one of them would end up converted to the Jesus movement. but I ended up liking both characters a lot and was sorry to see one of them go and the way they showed Reuben's death and Caiaphas reaction was very touching and moving.
My overall review of the show was it was quite good - but the writing needs a little work. The acting was fantastic, it was beyond compare IMO.

It was either shock or he knew she would be there like that.
Was his 'nod' to Rueben when Rueben joined him after talking about Leah a "Hey, glad you're at my side" kind of nod, or a "is it done?" "yes, sir, it's done" nod?
I'm worried we won't get a season two, so we'll never know who killed Leah! -

I thought Peter and Caiphas were going to high five each other when they stood up after kneeling in front of Cornelius. I agree, acting was superb!
