I spent a chunk of today hanging as hell and reading Reddit explanations of the ending.
I totally understand it now

The tldr is the Elliot we see shut off the real Elliot in the other world, which is a repetitive loop.
Supposedly there were all sorts of references to what was happening throughout the show, so it wasnβt a case of then making it up as they went long (which lost basically was).
Iβm so tempted to begin a rewatch and pick up all the nuances, but Iβll leave it for now. Itβs quite a stressful show to watch

I canβt wait to rewatch the sopranos for the third time, and the first time in HD.
Iβm savouring it

It has a pretty garbage season, but if you stick with it it's truly something else.
The final season has Ozymandias level quality in a couple of episodes, if you're a connoisseur of high quality tv, which I think you are.
Thank you for talking to me -

pretty much the perfect ending for the series
ngl though i was a bit let down by how they handled whiterose and his machine
i was hoping for some Dark level insanity in the final season
