IMDB has constantly flagged me JUST for me presenting conservative views. I point out Hollyweird's Liberal agenda in writing and show content.
IMDB, like Hollyweird is intensely Liberal/Libtard. They do not like the constant challenge by us Conservatives on the boards.
Mind you, Conservatives are a minority on IMDB. Most of the comments are by Liberal members here who refute and deny ANY Liberal agenda in Hollyweird. Right. Look at the political landscape now.
Amazon owns IMDB. Bezos is INTENSELY anti Trump and anti Right Wing. Liberals HATE speech that they "dont like". They label it "hate speech". Face Palm.
This closing of the message boards has NOTHING to do with trolls that disrespect shows for various reasons. The closing is PURELY political and attached to being 100% against conservatives calling out Hollyweird for being political idiots.
Look at the INSANE rantings of Ashley Judd, DeNiro, Madonna, Clooney, STREEP and dozens more. This insanity brings obvious comments here to IMDB and they DONT WANT TO HEAR it.
Amazon KNOWS that Social Media is like poison to most Conservatives who have given up Face Book, Twitter and ALL the rest as being Anti Conservative and Anti-FREE SPEECH. THAT is why they are shifting everything to Social Media.
I have long complained how IMDB has descended into Full Libtard mode in the last two years. All that has come to a head.
All I want to do, is make it clear WHY these boards are closing. It is to help silence any Conservative opposition to Hollyweird's RUNAWAY insane Libtard marathon.

I very much doubt that Bezos personally had anything to do with it. If it didn't cost IMDb a lot to keep it going, they wouldn't be closing it; keeping staff on board to manage complaints from people about trolls and political posts was never going to last forever.
This was a movie board. There were and are plenty of other places to discuss politics.

Did you ever think people want to discuss a movie or show without having some nutjob mixing politics with the discussion ? It's not about free speech or anti conservative views it's about people not wanting to read post after post political garbage about the same topics.

Which brings me to why didn't they just shut down the politics and general boards, that crazy people frequent and leave the movie and series boards?
With very few exceptions all the movie and series boards are pretty troll-free!

Freedom of speech is not freedom of consequence. You have as much a right to say something as someone has the right to ignore/refute it. Furthermore, IMDB is a private enterprise, freedom of speech only protects you from government intervention/persecution.
