Season 4 episode 6.
Now do not get me wrong, despite being 297 years old, Dutton is still a charismatic and attractive man, it would not be entirely impossible that a hot blonde in her early 30s may be interested in greasing his hog, so to speak.
BUT….the blonde early 30s bird he baggs in the show should FUCKING HATE him. She is a vegan activist, she hates ranches and ranchers, and dutton is not just a rancher, he is THE rancher.
It would be like a hot young blonde anti war activist hooking up with Bin Laden, it makes no sense at all why she wanted to **** a man who has killed THOUSANDS of animals in his life.
The
thought
of his 458 year old hot dog sliding into her vegan taco until it squirts mayo all over her torso should make her sick to her stomach, let alone the act itself.
I am pretty sure Costner pushed for this plot line. "
So im thinking, you make a hot young blonde lust over my knob, because I am Kevin Costner and I was a sex symbol in the early 90s and it just makes sense
"
This is probably why Costner is not coming back for the last half of season 5, because they refused to give him more scenes where he beds women half his age. -

More examples of the writing being ****ing stupid at times.
When Teeter begs for her job back and shows John the brand, this turns out to be the first John is hearing about her being branded, and it happened " the other night "
I have no ****ing idea what the time scale is between the scene of them all getting branded and the scene where she gets fired, but why the hell is this the first time John is learning of the brand? It's not like the brand is an important symbol on the ranch or anything, it's not like it means you have a family and a home for life or anything and the guy in charge dont really need to know when a new member enters the family.
The fact that new family members have been submitted should have been the first ****ing conversation Rip had with John the first time he seen him after said branding, but Rip did not seem to tell John at all, not even when he ****ing fired her. -

It has also been said that the brand means you have been given a second chance after your wrong doings, so was killing on behalf of the Duttons a wrong thing they needed a second chance for?
what if teeter took her firing the wrong way and decided to turn states witness or whatever? you branded the women and then FIRED her because men get angry and fight over pussy, what if she decided to take you down out of anger?? This is why Rip should have said something when she was fired.
