        Have you seen A Perfect World? Clint Eastwood directed it as well as having a main role, but it was Costner's movie from start to finish. He was brilliant.

          good film. i also have a really soft spot for Dances with Wolves. and he was the creator of the very interesting and good documentary series 500 Nations.

                    I am going to backtrack a bit, just finished most of 3 seasons.
                    Started strong, but by the 3rd season it was one of the most meandering shows I have ever watched. It's really like 4 shows (dysfunctional family, Dynasty/Dallas, cowboy story, and native Americans/white settlers), and none of them connect smoothly.
                    Still, Montana is beautiful.
