Is Stranger Things really that good?

Depends on the kind of content you like. I'm a fan of 80's Spielberg and Stephen King. This show blends a lot of their styles as well as other 80's stuff. Also draws a lot from D&D, and thebkids play it. It's derivative, but at the same time original in the way it's put together.
There are some lapses in the writing. It can get predictable, and there are some arcs that bore a lot of the fans, but unlike something like Walking Dead, you don't have entire episodes dedicated to something you don't like… well, except for that one in season 2 I liked but everyone seemed to hate. But good thing with Netflix, you don't have to wait a week.
I think the show gets better as it goes along. I found the beginning of season 1 to be sorta slow, but most fans tend to love 1, didn't care for aspeects of 2, 3 is either well loved or hated, and this season seems to be the most loved.

Not that early, but at least you're not calling scene kid emo elder emo. I try not to gatekeep, but that bugs the **** out of me.
One of my top 3 from them.
Would you consider Jawbreaker emo? I never know where to place them.

I dunno. It seems too wholesome of a horror series for my tastes.
And I tried watching the first episode but it creeper me out cuz in the episode that hybrid human (forgot her name) used her powers on a desk fan that blades were making noises. It reminded me of how my fan was making noises like that and how it annoyed me too. -

It started off reasonably well, with a nice Stephen King vibe, but each season has gotten progressively worse.
There are 8.2 billion people in the world. 8.19 billion of them have never heard of and don't give a fuck about Charlie Kirk. Get over it.
