        "Low key" (apart from the photography usage) goes back decades. Your great-grandparents were probably using it.

          My great-grandparents also used words like "shade", "swerve", and "slay".
          It doesn't mean 80s kids were using them in millennial-slang context.

              You need to look at the closed caption. Steve didn't say "lowkey". He said "Loki," as in the God of Mischief.
