    I've watched other docs. about Queen Elizabeth II, she, too, was (is?) a smoker. I doubt the authenticity of the scene where she protests Phillip lighting up. Just saying.

      I don't think Elizabeth II ever smoked unlike her sister. Margrethe II of Denmark, however, is a chain smoker.

              In most of the biographies I've read, Queen Elizabeth smokes one cigarette a day.

                Honestly, the characters (who are/were actual people) have some real issues with smoking and don't learn from their mistakes AT ALL. "Okay so they had to remove one my lungs because I smoked too much and got cancer… let's continue smoking with one lung left!" Great candidate for a Darwin Award here.
