US-American comedy TV series created by Michael Schur, starring Ted Danson as a retiree-turned-amateur
private investigator. It's based on the 2020 docu
The Mole Agent
by Maite Alberdi.
The series premiered on November 21, 2024, receiving critical acclaim.
It was renewed for a 2nd season the same year and subsequently released on November 20, 2025.
In February 2026, the series was renewed for a 3rd season.

i never heard of this prior to this post. i really couldnt get excited about season 1. i survived episode 2, 10 minutes. then gave up.
danson's still a good actor so i hope he gained some creative input/control for season 2. -

i never heard of this prior to this post.
i really couldnt get excited about season 1.
i survived episode 2, 10 minutes. then gave up.
danson's still a good actor so i hope he gained some creative input/control for season 2.

update. i really like season 2 epi 1. solid writing and good satire on corporate culture and academia. so i have good feelings for whole season if all like epi 1. nice "cheers" homage with opening sequence.
note to self: gotta learn the make of his suit. great cut and lines. -
