Yeah Obama is technically mixed race, but in America they tend not to call black people that, even if they really do look mixed. I find it strange.
Mariah looks more white than black, so people call her white or mixed.
I think black Americans claim she is black. That's what I read about. I was perplexed, I always thought she was white. That's why I find it funny. Because by their own definition that would make Obama white.
Another one was Wentworth Miller and even Johnny Depp (who apparently has a black ancestor). I saw millions of people on twitter calling them black. I was like wtf? -

She really does look like an Indian woman, though, not really an afro american.
I had a conversation with some Americans who were trying to tell me that Emilio Estevez was latino/hispanic and thus a POC. I tried to tell them his grandfather was from Spain in Europe and that he's European, but they didn't understand. I find it funny how obsessed with race Americans are, mainly the minorities seemingly. It's like they can't think straight. -

As someone who is one half Lakota, I'm a little disturbed that no indigenous people have been president yet. I'd think we would deserve a shot if anyone does. Although I've heard Obama had a smidge of Aniyunwiya in him but that's not good enough.

We Did!
His Name was "Barack Obama" and I actually think that he did a Pretty Darn Good Job as President and I have got 3 reasons why I think that.- He was the First African-American President of The United States.
- He gave Affordable Healthcare to millions of people in this country who didn't have it before.
- He is 1 of the 2 main reasons (the other being "Seal Team 6" and God Bless Those Guys!) why Osama Bin Laden (the person responsible for "September 11th, 2001") is now dead.

He did get affordable healthcare to millions but at the expense of millions of others like myself.
It's not like he made healthcare better for others and those who had decent plans already were able to keep theirs.
I haven't had decent healthcare in ten years now. Because of Obama. -

Of course. In order to subsidize the healthcare for those millions, people like myself then had to pay much higher premiums, copays and with fewer options. The goal was for us to pay more but use healthcare less. Many opted to pay the fine since premiums went up so high.
All of which was predicted before it was implemented but Obama went around saying it wasn't true. That it would save the average family around $5,000. The opposite happened. It cost us around that much more per year.
If you are very very poor or very well off, then Obamacare worked great.
For most of the rest of us, it was a disaster.
Illegal aliens often get better healthcare and at no cost to them. Only to the taxpayer. Which is a big reason why healthcare costs are so high. There are an estimated 30 million of them now and that is probably a very low number. Each one costs the American taxpayer at least $10,000 per year.
