- Rory sleeps w/married Dean; Rory sleeps w/engaged Logan
- Rory yawns while interviewing a fellow Yale student about pirate music downloads; Rory falls asleep interviewing a guy in line in NYC
- Rory's unhinged at the end of Yale; doesn't know what she's doing w/her life. Rory's unhinged now, loses it in an NYC hotel room w/Lorelai
- Rory accepts a favor from Mitchum Huntzburger that blows up in her face; Rory accepts Mitchum's offer to get her a job at Conde Nastwatch out, Rory. Huntzburger favors always have strings attached
- Lorelai's general malaise in her current relationship, first w/Chris, now w/Luke
- The senior Gilmores trying to push Luke to expand his business, first w/Richard on the golf course ("Leave the club at once!"), then Richard's leaving Luke $ to expand into an "empire"
- Emily's buying frenzy, when she loses it in the mall store, then shops for a private plane; Emily's purging frenzy in Winter.
- Emily-brought therapists: Emily invites a woman to Friday night dinner who happens to be a therapist, and Lorelai ends up confiding in her about Luke, then returns to Stars Hollow and demands to marry Luke; Emily dragoons Lorelai into therapy with Claudia, then Lorelai keeps going to see Claudia on her own.
- Lorelai and musicals: She locks eyes w/Luke while Kirk (as Tevye) sings "Do You Love Me?" at the FOTR rehearsal; she stays to watch Claudia sing her solo in SHTM. Both incidents lead her to Luke.
- Dishing on one's mom: Lorelai dished on Emily in the Top 10 CT Inns article; Rory writes a novel about her and Lorelai

PS: one last unrelated thing: Referring to The Godfather, Lorelai says, "There's a quote in it for every circumstance"which is exactly how I feel about Gilmore Girls!

That's one that came to my mind immediately. I like this recurring aspect actually, it's very in character. He's always been able to see through things and tell them as they are, which can have a huge impact on people's lives. It's why he's been good at getting under people's skin in the past.If I upset you, don't stress Never forget, that God isn't finished with me yet -

Lorelai once again asking her mother for money to expand the inn. The dialogue was almost identical to the scene in the pilot - e.g. "I'll get the cheque book", "so close", and the condition of continued contact.
Lorelai's proposal in both the regular series and 'Fall' received the same response from Luke - "What?"

Reverse theme:
Emily fires a maid every episode and Lorelai works with Sookie and Michele the whole time/Emily keeps a maid the entire time and doesn't even get annoyed at any of the odd stuff while Lorelai fires top name chefs each episode.
Hamilton cast expected to apologize for expressing concerns. What happened to 1st Amendment? -
