At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, whose members became some of the richest people in the world, virtually overnight. The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder.
Based on a true story and told through the romance between Burkhart (Leonardo DiCaprio) and Mollie Kyle (Lily Gladstone), Killers of the Flower Moon is an epic Western crime saga, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal.
Hailing from Apple Original Films, the film is directed and produced by Oscar-winner Scorsese and written by Scorsese and Eric Roth. Robert De Niro and Jesse Plemons also star. -

I'm surprised they aren't going hard with Gladstone. She'd be the first Indigenous acting win, right? Push her to lead. She's extremely articulate. And she doesn't look like your plastic Hollywood actress. They'd be falling over themselves to make another statement by giving her the golden fellow.
