It's a travesty what this film did to Superman. Travesty. Sick.

Where do I even begin.
They've made Superman a pushover in this. He's the butt of wisecracks from Mr. Terrific and Green Lantern. They's turned Superman's personality into Spider-man. He's the nerd of the group whose voice cracks.
Remember in the Reeve Superman, Reeve played Clark as a clumsy dork who adjusted his glasses, spoke nasally, with bad posture? Then, when he changed to Superman, he stood upright, gained more confidence, self-assured, charismatic?
And Cavill's Superman, you could argue his Clark was too "cool" like his Superman.
This Superman, he's a dork as both. He's basically Clark with the suit on. His voice cracks. He has no charisma. He's not an imposing figure. He's the butt of jokes and teases. Mr. Terrific says to him "Quit messin' around!" and Superman responds like he's afraid of him. It's ridiculous.
There are no scenes of Superman saving victims from natural disasters and crimes in progress that are unrelated to the main plot.
We don't spend any time with the citizens of Metropolis themselves. They have no role here. So we don't know what they think of Superman. Superman doesn't talk to anyone outside of Lois, his parents, and the villains.
The movie already begins with everyone who matters in the plot already knowing the identity of Superman, so the alter ego of Clark is essentially useless as it's doesn't factor into his daily activities other than he can talk to Lois at the Daily Planet. They could've had the whole movie with him in Superman costume and it wouldn't have mattered.
Mr. Terrific makes a comment that he hides GPS in people's bodies. We later see him sending a drone to Ma and Pa Kent's house where Clark is. He knows where Clark is at all times. This is creepy. This is a universe where Clark is subject to being spied on by metahumans at his parents' house. He has no privacy. The seclusion in the other films is absent.
Monkeys tweeting was the stupidest scene ever.
Lex's office forming into a spaceship is the stupidest scene ever.
The pocket-verse stuff is the stupidest scene ever.
Metamorpho has more powers than Superman, literally. He can create kryptonite to destroy him and create yellow sun to heal him. It's that easy. He has that power. Just like that they have a character who can kill Superman on a whim.
Superman gets his ass kicked by every basic-level henchman in this movie. This is not Cavill's Superman, where they had to keep him dead for half the Justice League because he is so powerful, with him alive the movie would be over in 5 minutes. This is a Superman who struggles with everyone. He has no superspeed, super-hearing, ice-breath, none of that. And this is not a grounded tone here. This is the most Star Wars Superman movie there is.
There's no character development at all. The movie already BEGINS with Lois and Clark being in relationship, metahumans exist, Lex hates Superman. Easiest screenplay writing job ever. Just write the third act and extend it to 2 hours.
Absolutely atrocious.
No awesome scenes like this:

Your lack of knowledge regarding Superman and the fact that you are gay have been acknowledged.
I hope you take this thread being deleted and your account being banned in stride. I know you won't, but I still hope you will.

Look at these poses. The posture. Even in the silly suit, they exude dominance. They’re alpha males. They’re imposing figures. Any girl would smash. These are men who make the rules. They aren’t the culprit of bulling in a room.
Now look.
He’s hunchback. His face this soft. He looks insecure. I would not be afraid of this guy if I saw him in a bar. His voice cracks and is high-pitched even when he’s speaking as Superman.
The movie made Green Lantern and Terrific more alpha than him. I don’t like their tone when they speak to him.
This is problematic.
