It's not even about the uncontested fact that we really don't need yet another completely crap, mediocre, derivative, boring and utterly irrelevant super-hero movie; so many of these have been made in the past few years in Hollywood that it's not even funny bashing them any more.
However, Hollywood DOES need to get their **** together and stop this ridiculous trend of casting teenagers, or man-children who LOOK like teenagers, as supposedly adult characters.
They already made the same mistake with the same frigging super-hero, no less, which is why that particular film bombed! This makes it twice!!! Not accounting for the other super-heroes, obviously. Is their collective memory THAT short ? Intellectual impairment ? Habla Ingles ? Hello ?! WHAT ?????!!!!!!!
Look at this guy's face, I don't know and I don't CARE what age he actually is - where I come from, he looks about 15 to me. Shit, I've known guys in the 15-16yo range with far rougher features and skin than this guy. If I saw this guy at a bar it would give me a HARD-ON, and I'm a fully hetero male !!!
If it's too late to change the cast, can't they at least use all that new CGI crap to make his face look like an actual grown-up MAN ?
Oh wait, I lost my time writing all the above - I just noticed there's a super-dog too… so it's a comedy ANYWAY!
Right ? RIGHT ?????!!!!
P. S. - Please jump off a tall building and die. Thank you. -

He doesn’t look like a boy at all. He’s even older than both Cavill and Reeve when they were cast.
This is the first Superman in what will be a slew of sequels going on for the next 30 years. Obviously, they’d need to start out with a guy who’s no older than early 30s. If anything, he’s too old. But he’s fine.
I’m concerned about your skincare if you think this man looks young. This is how older handsome rugged macho men are supposed to look. What is your standard here? Danny Trejo?

Look at the wrinkle’s in this man’s face.
This looks like a
boy
to you?
My God, those frown lines are distracting. I hope they “CGI out” his wrinkles to make him appear younger. Thus Superman needs Botox. He looks too old!!!

This movie looks really good though.
The thing about superman movies is that they are always good even if they aren't the best.
The only thing I don't like is superman's dad being a fat bald guy. Also I really liked Jesse Eisenberg's Lex Luthor but whatever.

Glenn Ford was in the first Superman movie for about 10 minutes and you really cared about him and his death was so tragic. Costner meant nothing.
