The trailers don't blow me away the same way that "Joker" did, but that might be because they don't want to reveal any twists. The trailer for Genesys told a condensed version of the whole narrative, including the John Conner twist.
I predict there will be some major twists here, including Edward Furlong showing up as the end as John Conner, and perhaps Gabriel Luna's terminator is really the protector. Robert Patrick may be in here as well.
