The closing shot is Sarah and John hugging each other after Arnold melts, as if everything will be ok, but there are a lot of questions to be answered…
We know that the FBI and Swat are seconds away from arriving at the Steel Mill.
There's what happened at Cyberdyne just moments earlier, and all that property damage, breaking and entering, tying up a police officer, and so on and so on, plus Sarah was already wanted for escaping the mental asylum.
With Dr. Silberman seeing the T-1000 for himself (I wish they touched on the aftermath of that) and now that John is with her, are we meant to believe that Sarah's story is now corroborated with the authorities?
