Well, it's Nic Cage in his underpants, wounded both physically and emotionally, having just lost everything that ever meant anything to him, and in the most brutal way possible, downing alcholol screaming in rage and pain, and falling apart, sobbing. It's heart wrenching.

It's my pleasure. And I hope it means you'll watch the movie. It's seriously beautiful and heartbreaking and violent. I've never seen a revenge movie quite like this. It's so visually stunning. I've seen it 5 times now, and I couldn't love it more.

Yes I am. It's on my top 10 personal favourites of all time. I'm not even a Nic Cage fan. But I do love psychedelic movies, and this was just absolutely stunning. Maybe it's one for the ladies, but not so sure about that since our own SpringheelJack loved it too.
In fact, I'm hard pressed right now to follow it up. I might just do it all again for a 6th time, but I maybe that's over-partaking. I should break its spell and move on, but that's really hard. It's so VERY beautiful.
Give it a chance when you feel like something heart wrenching, slow yet not quite so much, VERY VIOLENT, yet still so very very pretty. -
