This isn't realistic. It is, however, a lot of fun if you just go with it. It's based on a video game and while it looks set in our reality, apparently it is not. So you'd have to suspend disbelief if you, for example, expect a show of cops after every violent incident.

I'm not a gamer either. And knowing it was based on a video game is what made me wait a while before watching it. I had no connection to the game so I thought it wouldn't really be up my alley. Orson had told me I would love it, and while I did believe him, it took a second rec to bump it all the way to the top of my viewing list because I thought it would be something only fans of the game would appreciate.
Was very wrong. All you need to appreciate this is a love for beautifully done, breathtaking violence. There are also plenty characters to love/love to hate.
But if you're counting bullets and magazines, you're just going to think this is bullshit.
but I can imagine what plot points can be carried forward.
