This is a country with support from a Neo Nazis faction, which is still fighting with them now, that took over in a violent coup of an elected president back in 2014.
Then they started shelling and killing innocent Russian separatist civilians in the Donbas region breaking the Minsk agreement.
Now if they had left the separatists alone and honored the Minsk agreement like they were supposed to and agreed not to join with NATO then Russia may not have invaded.
These are the terms Russia wants for a cease fire.
If Uke disagrees then the ongoing invasion is partly on them.
They would be idiots to refuse those terms which will be a higher death toll for the civilians.
This is not justifying the invasion by Russia in any way.
Just pointing out that Uke has it's share of dirty laundry and how they could wash it.

Well I do agree with Ukraine not needing to be a part of Nato, the government that was overthrown in 2014 was a puppet government of sorts aligned with Russia and I doubt of those separatists were innocent.
